Advanced Training for Spine Surgeons
The scientific event titled “Surgical Treatment of Degenerative Lumbar Spine” was organized by Rizzola Academy in partnership with Globus Medical | Nuvasive and took place on October 27 and 28, 2023, at the Rizzola Clinic.

The four sessions of the program, aimed at a select group of young spine surgeons from across Italy, covered the following topics:
- Degenerative Spondylolisthesis
- Multilevel Disc Disease
- Adjacent Segment Degeneration (in patients with lower lumbar instrumentation)
- Case Presentations by participants
The proceedings on October 28th were opened by Francesco Variola, President of the Rizzola Clinic, and Antonio Alizzi, Director of the Scientific Committee of Rizzola Academy. Representing the city of San Donà di Piave, Gianluca Forcolin, the Councilor for Budget and Financial Resources, Personnel, and Associations, delivered welcoming remarks.
